ONGOING PROGRAMS:
Spiritual Direction/Spiritual Companionship: Spiritual direction is for anyone who is searching for deeper spiritual insight and meaning in their life. It is a process that allows one to become aware of the many ways God reaches out to you in your daily life. You can use your time with a spiritual director to slow down, to learn how to listen to God’s voice within, to deepen your relationship with God, self, and others, to explore life’s deeper issues and to make progress toward achieving greater consistency between your deeply held values and your actions. Individual spiritual direction is done on a one to one basis. The Magnificat Center has many qualified spiritual directors available. Donation range: $20-$50. Call Nell Kaba at 689-4081 for an appointment or contact any of our staff directly.
Directed Retreats: Directed retreats may be scheduled on an individual basis. Scripture and life experience are the primary materials for prayer. The director’s role is to support the retreatant in his/her journey with God. Retreatants meet with the director usually once a day. Fee: $75 a day. For information call: Nell Kaba at 689-4018 or contact us.
Private Retreats: The retreatant spends time alone in personal prayer, reading, and meditation for as long as you wish. Fee: $65 a day. To schedule call: Nell Kaba at 689-4081 or contact us.
Ignatian Spiritual Exercises: The Spiritual Exercises are a 30-day prayer experience developed by St. Ignatius of Loyola. The retreatant meets with a director daily. For more information contact Nell Kaba at 689-4081 or contact us.

During these days of retreat we will encourage one another to pray over God's work through the practice of Lectio Divina as a way of seeking to absorb God's point of view unfolding in the midst of our lives. |
